Frequently asked questions
What are the operating hours of the dental clinic?
Our dental centre operates on a wide-ranging schedule for your accessibility.
We welcome our old and new patients from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm on Mondays through Wednesdays. Our operations shift slightly later on Thursdays and Fridays, running from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. We recognise the need for weekend availability, so we’re open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturdays. And on Sundays, we accommodate visits between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm. With these varied hours, we aim to be accessible to our patients and their dynamic schedules.
Are emergency dental services available at your clinic?
Our top priority is attending to emergency cases, and we are dedicated to offering same-day appointments for urgent dental care.
What are the benefits of scheduling consistent dental check-ups for your overall well-being?
Promoting Overall Health
Regular dental check-ups are a cornerstone of maintaining your overall well-being. They can identify potential oral issues early, such as gum disease and cavities, which, if left untreated, can lead to significant health problems, including heart disease and diabetes.
Comprehensive Evaluation
During a check-up, your dentist performs a comprehensive evaluation of your oral health. This not only includes a thorough cleaning to remove tartar build-up but also an examination for signs of oral cancer. This preventative approach ensures your mouth stays healthy and your smile radiant.
Addressing Dental Needs
Regular visits allow your dentist to track your dental needs and design a personalised treatment plan. Early detection of potential issues, whether it’s a need for fillings, dental surgery or other treatment options, leads to more effective and less invasive treatments.
Maintaining Oral Hygiene
Finally, regular check-ups help reinforce good oral hygiene practices. Dentists can provide guidance on brushing, flossing, diet, and other factors contributing to oral health.
How to care for dentures?
Regular Cleaning
Just like natural teeth, dentures (false teeth) need to be cleaned every day. Use a denture brush or a gentle toothbrush and mild soap or denture cleaning solution. Avoid harsh cleaners, which can damage your dentures.
Proper Handling
Dentures can be delicate, and dropping them may cause them to break. When handling your dentures, do so over a basin filled with water or a soft towel to protect them if they fall.
Soaking Overnight
Most kinds of dentures require keeping them moist to retain their shape. Soak them in a mild denture-soaking solution or water overnight. Remember, some dentures have metal parts and should not be soaked in solutions containing chlorine, as it can tarnish the metal.
